Service Description

Instructor Fee: $150, registration is non-refundable and can be transferred to next available course only. Cancellations or transfers must be made 48 hours prior to start of the course or all fees are forfeited. Student workbook sold separately. This course expands on the knowledge and physiological principles presented in the AWHONN Intermediate FM Course. This course uses a case study approach to focus on the analysis of maternal-fetal physiology related to complex clinical information and fetal heart rate tracings. The course emphasizes the physiology of fetal-maternal oxygenation, the interpretation of tracings, the selection of clinical interventions, and perinatal risk-management principles. 7 nursing contact hours/7CME credit available through January 31, 2025 (0.75 hours may be used towards pharmacology hours). The Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses is accredited with distinction as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
